Different Types of Warts

  • Duct Tape: Putting just enough duct tape on to fit the wart for around a week and letting it sit will dry out the skin. After the week is over, all you need to do is rinse the area with some warm water and then file the dead skin off.
  • Vinegar: Use a cotton ball and soak it in vinegar. Then apply it to the wart with a bandage for one to two hours daily until the wart begins to disappear.
  • Hot Water: Soak the area of the wart in warm water, preferably anywhere above 40 degrees Celcius. You can also try adding in a little bit of vinegar and make a bath mixture.

Most of these home remedies work the same way in hoping to dissolve the skin tissues in the wart so that they break down into dead skin. Other ingredients that are popular include birch bark, basil leaves, raw potato juice, banana peels, and garlic, etc. Of course, you should be cautious what you are putting on your body. However, when it is something that is natural, there will most likely not be a huge harm in aftereffects.
